Capponara shoulder belts is a basket made from willows harvested in Vicenza area, Italy. Mario Brocchi is the maker who grows weaving this natural material, as extremely flexible when it's wet as very durable and hard when dried.
The technique of weaving used is called "capponara" and it was used in the rural area upside-down to keep safe the little chicks and its clucking. This is a special version exclusively made for the shop Puntaportego and it's an edition particularly irregular in its shape, with narrow neck useful to contain things.
This basket is for internal use only and can be used as a container and thanks to the belt it can be hung on the wall or carried on the shoulders.
